The round book

Post your round

Every postie’s day ended back in Shap with the round done. Yours ends the same way: post your round and it’s delivered straight into the round book.

Not a race, but…

From the fell to the round book

  1. Do the round

Walk or run it, recording on any free GPS app: Strava, Garmin Connect, OS Maps, Komoot or similar.

  2. Post it

Drop the GPX of your recorded walk or run in the postbox below. Your date, time and distance come straight from it.

  3. Franked and delivered

We check your route on the spot and your round lands in the book straight away. Rounds that pass the check count towards the fastest times.

Your round

Addressed to the round book

Your GPX is your proof: we read your date, time and distance from it and check it follows the round. Your name, date, time and distance appear in the public round book. Your email and GPX file stay private.

Your GPX file
Only so we can get in touch about your round if we need to. Never shown in the round book.
How did you do it?

Used for the round book’s category tables. Age on the day of your round. Leave blank to appear in Overall only.
