When you post a round

We show your name (or nickname), round, walk or run, date, time, distance and note in the public round book, plus your category (female or male) and age group if you choose to give them. Both are optional. You agree to this when you tick the box on the form.

We also ask for your email address. It is never shown publicly and only the site organiser can see it; we use it only to get in touch about your round if we need to.

Your GPX file is used only to check your round and to read your date, time and distance. They are never shown publicly, and only the site organiser can see them.

To limit spam, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address with the times of your recent entries. We don’t store the address itself, and it isn’t linked to your entry.

When you contact us

Messages from the contact form go to the site organiser only, not to Birchwood Cafe. We use them to reply to you and nothing else.

Removing your entry

Use the contact form to ask for your round or GPX file to be removed, and we’ll delete it.

Where your data lives

The site is hosted by Netlify. Round book entries and uploaded files are stored with Netlify; contact messages are handled by Netlify Forms.
